ThIs exhibit was created as part of a larger research project completed in 2014. The University of Oslo, University of Bergen, University of Stavanger, Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Argentina), Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropología Social (Mexico), Universidade de Brasilia (Brazil), and The Emigrant Museum cooperated on the project, which was supported by the Norwegian Research Council.
